The Yarilo Ensemble has scheduled four concerts for its inaugural season. In keeping with its name, Yarilo, a god of Spring and Summer, the concerts are set for the early summer months.
Duo pianists Jane Hayes and Anna Levy will serve up a concert of familiar music for two pianos. On the program the “Variations on a Theme of Haydn” by Johannes Brahms, the “Paganini Variations” by Witold Lutoslawski, and Sergei Rachmaninoff’s monumental “Symphonic Dances” in the version for two pianos.
Refreshments will be served after all concerts.
